In Torre del Greco - the hometown of cameo jewelry - it is said that engravers used to represent the girls they loved when commissioned to realize women's silhouettes, so that you could easily recognize the artist by simply looking at the face on the cameo.
Today we are renewing this tradition through these dainty earrings. They're handmade from 18k gold-plated silver, featuring traditional cameos paired with baroque pearls.
Materials
- 14-karat solid yellow gold
- 18-karat Gold-plated Silver (1.00 Micron thickness guaranteed). An additional layer of palladium plating (0.1 µ) is applied to protect gold from natural oxidation of silver.
- Hand-carved from Sky Blue Porcelain Cameo.
- Freshwater Cultured Pearls.
