Are Vintouch jewels handmade?
Yes, each of our pieces is meticulously handcrafted in our own workshop in Torre del Greco, Italy.
Our Team consists of highly skilled, experienced and dedicated Artisans who use traditional manufacturing techniques and high-quality raw materials with the aim to create excellent jewelry pieces.
Most of our jewelry pieces are handmade by using the bezel-set technique, which consists in wrapping a gold or silver ribbon around the perimeter of the stones and folding it over their edges, since no two can be exactly alike in their curvatures, thickness and contour. The “bezel” is than surrounded and embellished with decorative elements such as twisted ribbons, double wire braids, mixed ropes, strings of pearls, hand-engraved hallow-cane, filigree patterns, stamped or casted elements, diamond settings, etc.
What are Vintouch cameos made from?
Our lovely cameos are handmade from the finest quality of porcelain, known as jasperware, which is obtained from natural oxides that determine the color of the basis. With the aid of a fine chisel, our Artisans bring up the lines of the designs and enhance the harmony of the relief works.
Only the finest pieces are fired up at temperatures of up to 1200°C in order to get the hard, fine-grained, unglazed and slightly translucent stoneware cameo, which is then hand-finished again with the aid of an instrument called bulino.
What does gold-plated mean?
All our gold-plated jewelry is made from a sterling silver basis. Our gold-plating process is made by using the highest-quality products available in the market. Each of our pieces is immersed in an electrolytic solution of palladium, one of the most expensive precious metals in nature, which creates a barrier to protect sterling silver from its natural tarnishing process. After that, the pieces are plated with 18-karat gold. The thickness of the gold plate is of 1.2/1.5 µ which ensures it will last forever if not exposed to chemical substances like soaps, chlorine, detergents, etc.
All our jewelry is nichel-free and realized in full compliance with the REACH/ROHS regulations of the European Union.
How do I care for my Vintouch pieces?
Our jewelry pieces are extremely resistant and they don’t need any particular attention.
By the way, we suggest to avoid contacts with soaps, cosmetics, detergents, hot water and chlorine, that could alterate the natural characteristics of the piece, especially when it comes to gold-plated jewelry.
When it is not worn, keep your jewelry piece in its bag in order to protect it from natural oxidation. Only if necessary, use a suede cloth and delicately clean the surface of the piece.
What if a piece breaks or needs a repair?
Each of our pieces come with a 2-Year Warranty, which means we will repair at no charge any manufacturing defect found within two calendar year of the date of purchase.
In case you have accidentally scratched your jewelry or want your jewelry re-plated after your 2-Years Warranty expired, you will only be asked for a contribution to the shipping costs. The cost of the contribution may vary based on your location. Please refer to our Customer Care Policy to know how to submit your reparation request.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do. We ship our jewelry worldwide on a daily basis and have a grounded knowledge of the international shipping requirements so that you can get your order without problems of any sort with Customs.
We ship with DHL, FedEx and UPS. Each shipment is trackable. For more information regarding shipments, please refer to our Shipping Policy.
What if I want to get my piece of jewellery gift wrapped?
We ship all orders in our signature packaging but are more than happy to beautifully gift wrap your package and include a handwritten note should you wish so. Just drop us a line at customercare@vintouchjewels.com with your order number in the subject line, and we will wrap it up!
Can I return an order if I change my mind?
Yes, you can. For your return to be accepted, the item must be received back to us within 30 days of when it was first received by you.

Do you have a physical store presence?
We work on a made-by-order process, so we don't use to have stock but should you come around Naples, we would happily welcome you to show you how we handmade our pieces.
